Job summary

Premier Truck Group in Texas is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment, receive incoming items, and input information into the system.

You will stock, locate parts in proper bins, assist customers at the counter, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while staying current on our product lines and policies. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least six months to one year of related

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience and/or training.
• One year or more of related experience and/or training; dealership environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment
• Receive incoming merchandise from suppliers
• Input information into the computer and files as required
• Assist with core inspection and warranty tracking
• Pull, organize, and log orders for ship out or delivery as required
• Stock, maintain, locate parts in proper bins and mark products
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs
• Respond to telephone inquiries from customers
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers' needs
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Responsible for care of equipment
• Comply with company policies and procedures not to exclude safety regulations
• Abide by security procedures
• Assist in other areas as needed
• Stay current on company product line
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Dealership environment experience preferred

Parts Warehouse Associate Requirements:

Education -High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience -High School Diploma or equivalent; one year or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Training in Dealership environment preferred.

Licenses or Certificates -A valid driver’s license is required. Certification as a forklift operator required.
