Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Back Parts Counter Sales associate to provide excellent customer service, assist customers with parts selection, and process inquiries over the phone and email.

Responsibilities include locating parts in catalogs, checking availability with vendors, maintaining a clean phone room, and supporting warehouse staff to fulfill orders. High school diploma and at least 1 year sales experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sales and/or counter experience preferred.
• Additional product training helpful.

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
• Respond to telephone/email inquiries from customers.
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet customers' needs.
• Call vendors to determine availability and price of parts not in stock.
• Maintain the Phone Room and assist warehouse personnel in locating parts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Back Parts Counter Sales Responsibilities:

Back Parts Counter Sales Requirements:

Education

A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities. Additional product training preferred.

Experience

A minimum of one year experience in sales and/or counter operations is required.
