Job summary

Lonestar Truck Group is seeking a Parts Warehouse person to support parts warehousing operations. Under supervision, you will pack and ship orders, receive stock, and maintain organized shelves.

You will operate a forklift to move inventory, load/unload freight, and perform cycle counts while keeping the area safe and tidy. A GED or high school diploma is preferred; prior experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.

Purpose of Position

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, the Parts Warehouse person is responsible for parts in the warehouse.

Essential Job Functions

• Packs and ships parts orders.
• Receives parts and puts them on the shelves.
• Operates powered industrial forklift to transport inventory.
• Loads and unloads freight trucks.
• Packs core and warranty for return.
• Performs cycle counts.
• Keeps warehouse area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as required.

Required Skills/ Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Preferred Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Preferred Experience

• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
