About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification And Automation
The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!
The EA Business Unit in Wendell, North Carolina, which is its U.S. headquarters, focuses on electric-vehicle charging, photovoltaic inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation. Additionally, assembly of electric-vehicle chargers, low-voltage motor control centers, and retrofit and replacement circuit breakers occurs at the facility.
We are looking for a Parts Specialist. This position will be based in Wendell, NC. Relocation cost assistance is available.
Position Overview
The Parts Specialist is responsible for handling general parts requests from a broad range of customers. This role requires an understanding of customer needs and the ability to manage a high volume of parts across various ages and types of electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
Quote requested parts to meet customer needs
Serve as the primary customer contact from quotation through order entry
Coordinate with Sales teams to ensure timely and efficient responses and proposals
Work alongside experienced Siemens professionals to deliver a wide range of solutions and offers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth quotations and high customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree - preferable in an Engineering discipline
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, SAP, Microsoft Outlook, and others
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented and able to work accurately under pressure
Strong process orientation and ability to follow established procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and its components

The pay range for this position is $53,760 - $92,160. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
