Parts Specialist - Lawn & Garden Equipment

Job Summary
Selling service parts, attachments, and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Knowledge of all parts in order to effectively help customers identify, order and receive necessary parts for repair of equipment offered for sale by the dealership
-Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
-Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
-Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
-Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Orders in their proper inventory locations thus maintaining an accurate and complete inventory
-Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
-Follows up on shortages and issues by working directly with the parts manager
-Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Position Qualifications
-2+ years of experience within the Lawn & Garden and/or Parts industry preferred
-Basic data entry/keyboard skills
-Basic parts and machinery knowledge
-Ability to use the correct parts catalog computer application
-Ability to work in a team environment
-High School diploma or GED equivalent
-Forklift experience preferred
-Stand for long periods of time
-Ability to lift up to 75lbs
