Job description

Join to apply for the Parts Specialist- Generator Division role at Air Centers of Florida.

The Parts Specialist will support generator internal and external customers by taking parts orders via phone, fax, email, and walk-in customers, and handle generator and/or air compressor parts inventory functions. These functions require electronic management of parts using company business systems, as well as parts research, tracking, and vendor sourcing. Additionally, this position involves supporting other parts personnel as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Process parts order and quote requests from the service department.
  2. Invoice completed parts orders.
  3. Maintain organization of parts and workflow following inventory control procedures.
  4. Meet and/or exceed sales goals.
  5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of air compressor and generator system technology, including industry trends.
  6. Perform warehouse tasks such as forklift operation, stock management, loading/unloading shipments, and preparing shipments via UPS.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support sales and service departments and other parts personnel as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1 to 3 years of parts sales experience, with inventory control and warehouse experience preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Basic mechanical and technical knowledge of service parts and industry.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Wearing PPE including steel-toed shoes is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Basic math skills for order calculations.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Experience with enterprise systems like SAP, FieldServio, ADP.
  • Proficiency with schematic and service documentation.
