Job summary

Technique, Inc. is seeking a Parts Support Specialist at our North Carolina chassis facility. You will source, receive, organize, and distribute parts to support chassis assembly and repair operations, ensuring technicians have the right parts at the right time to maintain production flow.

This role emphasizes inventory accuracy, parts identification, and timely fulfillment while collaborating with maintenance and production teams to support safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical training preferred in automotive, diesel, or mechanical fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in a parts room, warehouse, or automotive/chassis service environment.
• Familiarity with chassis systems and mechanical component identification.
• Experience with inventory or parts management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts per purchase orders; resolve discrepancies with vendors or procurement staff.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels using the parts management system; perform cycle counts and audits.
• Identify chassis components using manuals, catalogs, and schematics; assist technicians with part lookups and substitutions.
• Pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians and work orders to minimize downtime.
• Store and organize parts room safely and in compliance with guidelines.
• Process returned, defective, or warranty parts and coordinate with vendors for credits or replacements.
• Assist in generating purchase order requests and tracking orders to receipt.
• Collaborate with assembly, maintenance, and operations teams to anticipate parts needs.
