Join to apply for the Parts Specialist (1-10 pm shift) role at RDO Truck Centers.

This individual will perform customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to parts sales, receiving, and delivery that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department. Responsibilities include assisting customers with identifying needed items using electronic catalogs, merchandising, invoicing, and updating inventory systems according to company guidelines.

Specific Duties Include
  1. Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in the parts department.
  2. Record all sales and customer transactions using company systems and guidelines.
  3. Maintain retail sales floor and displays to meet dealership standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Assist with inventory control by reporting discrepancies.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of correct parts to internal and external customers.
  6. Handle receiving, shipping, and storing of parts according to DOT guidelines.
  7. Stay current on industry and product information.
  8. Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as needed.
  9. Store parts systematically and assist with cycle counts.
  10. Follow safety rules and company policies.
  11. Present a professional image of RDO Truck Centers.
  12. Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge.
  13. Engage in company communication efforts.
  14. Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and management.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Formal parts training or industry experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical and technical terms.
  • Knowledge of parts operating systems preferred.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
