Job summary

Zero Zone North Prairie, WI is seeking a detail-oriented inventory and parts coordinator for a full-time role. You will manage inventory across three warehouses, move serialized parts, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ERP system familiarity. A strong team player who can lift and move parts up to 50 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move parts between locations and create transport tasks accurately among the three warehouses.

• Process work orders and deliver customer orders tied to work orders.
• Oversee quality of parts being packed and manage backorder log.

Responsibilities

• Skills in inventory management
  • Move parts between locations
  • Create transport tasks accurately among the three warehouses
  • Maintain inventory counts
  • Troubleshoot inventory issues/Kanban
  • Move serialized parts accurately
  • Send parts properly marked to the other two warehouses
• Pack parts orders so inventory is not damaged
• Close parts orders
  • Print and sign picklists
  • Add tracking to orders
  • Deliver the parts order
• Process work orders
  • Pull/move inventory to transfer parts from a work order to a parts order
  • Deliver customer order tied to work order
• Process return material authorizations
• Oversee quality of parts being packed
• Palletize and ship large orders via LTL carriers
• Lift at least 50 lbs
• Maintain proper inventory levels in the Parts Department
• Build a small amount of subassemblies
• Create shop orders for multistep operations
  • Maintain the shop floor workbench for the Parts Department
• Manage and keep the backorder log updated
• Maintain and respond to emails
• Order packaging supplies from UPS and local suppliers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• ERP system experience preferred

Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; communicate one‑on‑one and in group settings with customers and coworkers; apply common sense to carry out detailed but routine written or oral instructions; make non‑routine decisions within established guidelines with minimal supervision.

Behavioral & Environmental Requirements

• Maintain a positive work attitude and facilitate good relationships with customers, clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Wear safety toe shoes and safety glasses in production areas.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to use computer, telephone, and other equipment; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; occasionally lift or move up to 35 lbs.
