The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Essential Job Functions

1. Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
2. Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
3. Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
4. Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
5. Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering all calls per company policy, accurately looking up parts and quotes, recommending related items, and promoting the Low-Price Guarantee.
6. Maintain and secure the cash drawer, handle transactions, and process credit card payments accurately.
7. Process exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies.
8. Address and resolve customer complaints courteously.
9. Assist with daily store operations such as freight receival, stocking, planogram updates, and cleaning.
10. Perform operational tasks like merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory counts.
11. Operate store equipment after training and meet company requirements.
12. Perform in-store services for customers (where laws permit), such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, etc.
13. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle if needed, subject to driving record approval.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive parts and sales.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
