Job summary

Rydell Auto Center in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to verify and record shipments and prepare items for shipment to meet quality standards. The role supports the Parts department and may require late shifts during winter or busy months.

The ideal candidate will handle packing, inventory movement, and cooperate with shipping teams while using MS Office tools and delivering good customer service to internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate information.
• Efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge and ability to make decisions.
• Understanding of proper packaging methods.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areas.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts department.
• Willingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy months.

Pay/Schedule

• Pay is $17/hour
• Flexible Scheduling!
  • Late afternoon/evening availability. Typical shifts would be 3pm-8pm Monday through Friday. Flexible start time/end time.
