Job summary

Rydell Auto Center in Grand Forks, ND is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to verify and record shipments and prepare items for shipment. Typical shifts run 3pm-8pm, Monday–Friday, with flexible start/end times.

Pay is $17/hour with in-house benefits including discounted services, an employee vehicle purchase program, and volunteer PTO. Responsibilities include handling incoming/outgoing shipments, matching PO to sales orders, counting inventory, and assisting in the Parts department.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate information.
• Knowledge and ability to make decisions.
• Understanding of proper packaging methods.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areas.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts department.
• Willingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy months.
