Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
• Valid in-state driver's license with safe driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs and use the parts department computer system.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify information against invoices and orders.
• Determine shipment method using routes and rates.
• Maintain bins, aisles, and storage areas.
• Unpack shipments and reject damaged items; document shortages.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet specifications.
• Operate heavy machinery (forklift, pallet jack) as required.
• Maintain shipping and receiving records.
• Keep inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
