Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is seeking a warehouse/parts associate to receive, ship, and move parts. You will operate a forklift and ensure accurate bin locations and inventory flow. Background checks and drug/physical testing are required for employment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced parts department environment, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned truck dealership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy duty truck parts, automotive parts, or retail warehousing.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Recognize the need for urgency in shipping parts, must pay attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Compare information such as counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, or other records.
• Determine best method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shippers to rectify discrepancies.
• Operate forklift truck or use a hand truck to move shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Change bin locations on parts when moving from one location to another.
• Work closely with inventory clerk to ensure new parts have correct bin locations.
• Keep shelves and stock bins clean and in proper order.
• Keep warehouse swept and clean.
• Work closely with warranty clerk to assure proper routing and packing of warranty parts.
• Work closely with inventory clerk to assure proper routing of core returns.
