Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading lift truck manufacturer, is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Schaumburg, IL. You will perform order pulling, shipping, receiving, stock handling and forklift tire pressing, while maintaining accurate records and a safe, organized warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, up to 2 years related experience, and the ability to operate lift trucks and drive legally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year or less experience in shipping/receiving preferred
• Able to operate lift trucks safely and efficiently
• Strong communication and basic computer/record-keeping skills

Responsibilities

• Order pulling, shipping, receiving, stocking, and forklift tire pressing
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory control for stockroom and consignments
• Process inbound/outbound parts returns
• Assist with year-end processing and reporting
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work area
• Answer and process customer/service technician calls

Job Duties

• Order pulling, shipping, receiving, putting up stock, and pressing forklift tires
• Inventory control to include cycle counts of stockroom, vans, and customer consignments
• Process inbound and outbound parts returns
• Assist with year-end processing and reporting
• Maintain records, files, and a clean and safe working environment
• Answer and process incoming parts calls from customers and service technicians

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Valid driver\'s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks

Preferred Qualifications

• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred

Crown offers an excellent wage and benefits package for full-time employees. Current benefits being offered include:
