Job summary

Doherty Automotive in Mobile, AL is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Inventory Specialist to manage merchandise receipt and shipment. You will support inventory accuracy, assist with cycle counts, and handle special orders and back-ordered items under supervisor direction.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle duties related to merchandise in the inventory area.
• Ship and receive departmental and dealership inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and record cattle inventory-related records.
• Create special orders as directed by the manager.
• Notify departments when special orders or back-ordered items arrive.
• Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by supervisor.
• Organize and keep inventory area clean and orderly.
• Receive and stock incoming inventory and verify against purchase orders.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
