Job summary

Audi-Cary, part of the Holman family, is seeking a Parts Shipper and Receiver to join our automotive service team in Cary, NC. You will locate parts, confirm availability, and process orders from stock, including receiving and filling telephone orders and updating service records.

You should understand basic automotive components, have dealership exposure a plus, and be organized with strong attention to detail. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Locate parts by reading catalogs or computer listings, determine part numbers, check availability, and fill orders from stock.
• Download incoming orders, enter into computer system and match with parts inventory.
• Obtain parts from manufacturers, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
• Sort and label incoming parts and store in inventory.
• Attend required training and department meetings; maintain regular attendance.

What will you do?

• Locate the type of part needed or assist the customer or technician in determining the correct part for the job at hand. Read catalog and/or computer listings to obtain replacement part stock number, determine availability of part, order part if necessary, fill orders from stock, mark/log and store’s parts according to prearranged system, receive and fill telephone orders; may prepare customer bill or add parts to service order, etc.
• Downloadincoming orders, enter into employer’s computer system and match withparts inventory.
• Obtainparts from manufacturer, outside vendors, or other dealers as needed.
• Sortand label incoming parts and store in inventory.
• Attend/complete requiredtraining and department meetings
• Regular and predictableattendance.
