Job summary

Utility Keystone is seeking a parts clerk to support the Service Department by stocking parts, pulling orders, and assisting with deliveries and paperwork.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. You will research part numbers, maintain inventory, and provide friendly, professional service to technicians and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to maintain composure and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve the needs of the Service Department by pulling orders, restocking shelves, loading and unloading trucks.
• Deliver parts for repair orders to the service technicians.
• Keep accurate records of repair orders and manage paperwork flow while researching part numbers via catalogs and the internet.
• Be proficient in using the internet, corresponding to emails, and managing phone calls.
• Organize and maintain a quote system for parts pricing and availability for potential repair orders.
• Assist parts department in other areas as needed (counter & phone support, parts delivery to customers).

Job Summary

This position is responsible for supplying the Service Department with stock parts or by procuring parts from an outside source in a timely and cost-saving manner.

Essential Duties

• Serve the needs of our Trailer Technicians in the shop.
• Assist the parts department by pulling orders, restocking shelves, loading, and unloading trucks.
• Keep accurate records of repair orders and other transactions, while managing paperwork flow and becoming efficient in researching part numbers through catalogs and the internet.
• Be proficient in using the internet, corresponding to emails, and managing phone calls.
• Must have great organizational skills and will require the individual to be a strong self-starter.
• Organize and maintain a quote system for the service department to include parts pricing and availability for potential repair orders.
• Delivery of parts for repair orders to the service technicians.
• Assist parts department in other areas as needs arise (counter & phone support, parts delivery to customers).

Education and Experience

• Education – High School diploma or GED; 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training.

Physical Environments

• Noise levels are moderate to high at times in a warehouse environment.
• The physical exertion may be heavy at times, may require lifting up to 100 pounds.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
