Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group, and is seeking a Parts Sales Specialist in Waterloo, IA. You will assist customers and technicians in securing needed parts and supplies, aiming to meet monthly sales and gross profit forecasts.

You will prepare invoices for over-the-counter sales, bill parts to repairs orders, help maintain stock levels, process local purchase orders, and uphold strong customer relationships with timely service and accurate

Qualifications

• One-year automotive parts related work experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and requests in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians in securing required parts and supplies.
• Prepare invoices for over-the-counter sales and bill parts to repairs orders.
• Maintain stock levels, receive and ship parts, and issue local purchase orders.
• Maintain favorable customer relationships and address needs promptly; escalate issues when needed.
• Enter lost sales into the inventory system to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety practices and maintain clean parts area and warehouse.
