Job summary

You will report to the Parts Manager and work as part of a team to maintain inventory accuracy and merchandising displays. The role emphasizes parts knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to handle counter transactions, verify shipments, and support service staff with parts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Previous merchandising and parts sales experience preferred.
• Forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Sells parts to AVE-PLP customers at the store and at customer locations.
• Maintains an accurate and effective inventory control system.
• Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
• Records all sales and counter transactions.
• Verifies receiving shipments and assists the Parts Manager with merchandising displays.
• Follows up on shortages and expedites as needed.
