Rush Enterprises Inc. is recruiting a Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter in Topeka, KS.

The role focuses on selling commercial vehicle parts to external customers at the counter or via phone, and ensuring accurate processing in SAP and related systems. Responsibilities include handling sales documentation, returns, and daily order setup, while supporting CSI initiatives and dealership marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in over the counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting.
• Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to external and account customers over the counter or by phone.
• Process all parts movements in SAP promptly.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate retail orders in Parts Link.
• Document all sales per Rush policies to include signatures and payment details.
• Issue credits for returned parts with invoice reference.
• Handle core returns per procedure.
• Process customer and vendor returns per procedure.
• Maintain orderly records of orders, invoices, estimates, and special orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in Dealership CSI and marketing.

The Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to external customers via the counter or over the phone.

Responsibilities:

• Sell parts to external and account customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are performed in SAP in a timely manner.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders possible in Parts link.
• Ensure that all sales are properly documented per Rush policies to include but not limited to signatures, information on checks and credit card slips.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Responsible for core returns – per procedure.
• Complete all customer and vendor returns-per procedure.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in Dealership CSI and marketing.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Six months’ experience in over the counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment.
• Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.
