Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is hiring a Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter to sell commercial vehicle parts to external customers at the counter or by phone. You will handle SAP movements, update repair orders, and manage orders for daily shipment or pickup.

The role requires basic high school education and at least six months in OTC sales, ideally in a dealership or service setting, with familiarity in accounting and inventory software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months’ experience in over the counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting.
• Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to external and account customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are recorded in SAP promptly.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders where possible in Parts link.
• Document all sales per Rush policies (signatures, checks, credit slips).
• Process credits for returned parts with original invoice numbers.
• Handle core returns per procedure.
• Process all customer and vendor returns per procedure.
• Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, etc.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in CSI and marketing activities.

Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to external customers via the counter or over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to external and account customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are performed in SAP in a timely manner.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders possible in Parts link.
• Ensure that all sales are properly documented per Rush policies to include but not limited to signatures, information on checks and credit card slips.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Responsible for core returns – per procedure.
• Complete all customer and vendor returns-per procedure.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in Dealership CSI and marketing.

Basic Qualifications
