When equipment is down, every minute counts. We're looking for a customer-focused Parts Sales Representative who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and helping farmers and agricultural businesses keep their equipment running.

Position Summary

The Parts Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for customers by phone, online, and in person. This role identifies customer needs, recommends parts and solutions, processes orders, and delivers an exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Sales & Service
    • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with agricultural equipment parts inquiries.
    • Build relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their equipment and operational needs.
    • Recommend the right parts, products, and value-added solutions to maximize equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
    • Follow up on quotes and inquiries to close sales and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Assist customers with billing questions, warranty concerns, order status, and general product information.
    • Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude in every interaction.
  • Order Management & Operations
    • Process orders accurately, including pricing, shipping, payment, and delivery information.
    • Monitor open orders, coordinate with internal departments, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Handle returns, credits, defective parts, and online order corrections to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate customer accounts and sales records.
    • Collaborate with leadership to achieve sales goals and contribute to team success.
Qualifications

Experience & Knowledge

The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with outstanding customer service and sales skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in agricultural, heavy equipment, diesel, truck, automotive, or industrial parts sales.
  • Knowledge of agricultural equipment and replacement parts, including tractors, combines, planters, sprayers, tillage, and hay equipment.
  • Ability to use parts catalogs, inventory systems, and dealership management software to accurately identify and source parts.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred but Not Required
  • Experience with an agricultural equipment dealership or parts distributor.
  • Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts.
  • Mechanical, diesel, or farming background.
