Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and keyboarding.
• Basic knowledge of parts, equipment, machinery, or related products.
• Ability to learn and use parts catalog and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail when processing orders and handling inventory.
• Experience in parts sales, inventory management, agriculture/construction equipment, or related industry.
• Experience using electronic parts catalog systems, including John Deere Parts Catalog.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts, attachments, and related products.
• Promote products and services while delivering a positive customer experience.
• Process and communicate customer online parts orders through the company’s portal.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify inventory against documentation.
• Stock inventory and maintain organized storage areas.
• Assist with merchandise displays and presentation.
• Monitor inventory shortages, order discrepancies, and urgent needs to team leads.
• Support fulfillment of customer orders, including stock orders.
• Help maintain clean, safe department, warehouse, and work areas.
• Assist in care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries and voicemails promptly.
• Collaborate with coworkers to support daily operations and customer service goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
