Job summary

Pacific Recycling, Inc. is a family-owned scrap metal recycling facility in Lane County. We are seeking a friendly, reliable Parts Runner/Shop Assistant to join our maintenance team immediately.

Responsibilities include driving a light-duty truck, assisting with inventory, labeling and stocking parts, and handling lifts up to 50 pounds. Qualifications include clear English communication, a valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English
• 18 years of age
• Good driving record
• Must be able to pass background test
• Reliable - good attendance is required

Responsibilities

• Drive a light-duty truck to pick up parts locally under the direction of our Parts Coordinator and Shop Manager
• Assist with receiving inventory and entering inventory into the computer system
• Unpack incoming merchandise, mark part numbers on articles and stock on shelves
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Must be able to lift regularly and/or move up to 15 lbs and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred
