Job summary

Wendling Quarries Inc. is seeking a dependable delivery driver to transport parts to various quarry locations in Louisiana. This role includes serving as a back-up for Parts Associates and will require adherence to safety policies while ensuring efficient communication with shop personnel.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of mechanics, a valid driver's license, and must be at least 18 years old. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL & Non-excepted Interstate certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to different quarry location sites.
• Serve as a backup to the Parts Associates.
• Communicate with shop personnel and crew leads.

Job description

This position is responsible for delivering parts to different quarry location sites. This position will also serve as a back up to the Part's Associates.

Job Duties

• Keep informed of product availability
• Communication with shop personnel and crew leads
• Work safely with adherence to Wendling Quarries safety policy

Job Requirements

• Understanding of basic mechanics and working knowledge of large equipment
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Valid Class A CDL & Non-excepted Interstate certification (Preferred)
• HAZ-MAT & Tanker Endorsements (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills

Hours: Monday - Friday. On average works 50 to 55 (overtime available) hour weeks depending on the season.
