Flowers Foods, Inc. in Texas offers a Production Operator role contributing to parts management and production support. The position focuses on inventory control, receiving, inspecting, and storing parts used by the Engineering Department while upholding product safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year as Production Operator or 2+ years as Maintenance Engineer or mechanic, including parts ordering. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Salary around $27 per hour.

Competenze

• One or more years experience as Production Operator or two or more years experience as Maintenance Engineer or mechanic or operator and experience in ordering parts.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

• Processes parts/materials requests, identifies and orders parts as listed in the parts manual and/or parts catalogs.
• Receives, inspects, counts, records and stores parts/ materials.
• Maintains neat orderly parts storage area.
• Maintains accurate and cost effective inventory at all times.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Bringing Home the Dough

Maintain cost effective inventory control, including ordering, receiving, inspecting and accounting for all material and parts used by Engineering Department. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
