Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a production operator/maintenance role within the Engineering Department. You will oversee inventory control, process parts requests, and ensure product safety and quality.

This full-time role requires 1+ years in production or 2+ years in maintenance, plus parts ordering experience. Benefits include health coverage and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• One or more years experience as Production Operator or two or more years experience as Maintenance Engineer or mechanic or operator and experience in ordering parts.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Processes parts/materials requests, identifies and orders parts as listed in the parts manual and/or parts catalogs.
• Receives, inspects, counts, records and stores parts/ materials.
• Maintains neat orderly parts storage area.
• Maintains accurate and cost effective inventory at all times.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.

Bringing Home the Dough

Maintain cost effective inventory control, including ordering, receiving, inspecting and accounting for all material and parts used by Engineering Department. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

Salary Range- 26.57 - 30.42
