Job summary

Brandeis Machinery and Supply Co. is seeking a Parts Department Associate to provide excellent customer service while assisting customers with a variety of parts needs. You will perform daily warehouse tasks, process orders, prepare shipments, and maintain inventory control in a busy parts department.

The role requires ordering accuracy, forklift operation, and adherence to safety procedures. A high school diploma and at least 1 year in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and supply requests for the parts department.
• Pulls materials, packs boxes, and prepares items for shipment.
• Maintain records of warehouse activities and inventory movements.
• Identify damaged, lost, or surplus materials.
• Deliver orders by driving to customer locations.
• Operate/maintain lift truck and perform safety inspections.
• Coordinate with Parts/Warehouse staff on tasks and priorities.
• Assist customers at the parts counter on occasion.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to the Parts Manager.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and company procedures.
