Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Wichita, KS is seeking a dependable parts preps associate to prepare components for the production process and assist operators as needed. You will determine job priority, select racking procedures based on size and shape, wire or clip items to racks, and remove parts after processing.

You will also complete paperwork, wear proper PPE, and keep a clean, safe work area while adhering to hazardous waste disposal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Masking experience or related field, aerospace preferred.
• Detail-oriented with manual dexterity; able to read and interpret drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

Shift Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM.
