The City of Lake Worth Beach invites qualified individuals to apply for the position of Parts & Property Clerk.
This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position based on a 40-hour work week with an hourly range of $21.89 - $27.36. The position is part of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) collective bargaining agreement. The individual in this position will work in the Utilities Building located at 1900 2 nd Ave N, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460.

This is a skilled technical and clerical position with a focus on ordering, receiving, keeping computer records and inventory accounting of the Utilities Warehouse and Power Plant spare parts. This job involves moderately heavy labor. General supervision and instruction are received from the Materials Management Manager.
In performing the daily duties of this job, the employee is expected to supervise and inspect work activities in non-air conditioned indoor and outdoor warehouse areas as well as outdoor job-site material storage and staging areas.
All full-time employees are considered critical in response to emergency situations and may be deemed essential as needed depending on the situation.
Employees in this position will be required to complete the FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) Certification Levels 100, 200, 700 and 800 within the first six months of employment. Certain positions may be required to attain additional ISC training as needed.
