Hunter Truck in South Royalton, VT is seeking a Parts Outside Sales Associate to grow parts sales with assigned accounts and new prospects. This full-time role pays $65,000 to $80,000 per year.

You will visit customers regularly, log activities in Arcadium, process orders, and advise on stock vs. emergency needs. You’ll maintain customer records, pursue new business, and support aftermarket service; a valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; or 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned customers on a regular basis (weekly, bi-weekly).
• Prospects for new customers.
• Log all activities in Arcadium.
• Process parts orders and advise whether status is stock or emergency based on customer needs.
• Check with customers to ensure delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering.
• Obtain Parts Manager’s approval for any special pricing or special circumstances required by customer.
• Follow up on parts orders to ensure customers have been served properly.
• Turn in expense reports regularly.
• Update customer records to reflect changes to customers’ names, addresses, etc.
• Process and track warranties and credits for customers.
• Attend training seminars, as required.
• Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred but not required; or one to two years related experience and/or training
