Job summary

Camp Chevrolet is seeking a Parts Advisor – Outside Sales to support customer and vendor interactions across the counter and service departments. This commission-based role offers earning potential with a few trips per month, and regular Mon–Fri scheduling with occasional overnight travel.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years in automotive parts in a dealership, strong parts knowledge, and proficiency with ADP and CDK. ASE certification is a plus, and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in automotive parts or service departments, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced dealership with a customer-facing focus.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and manufacturer catalogs (Chevrolet).
• ASE Parts Specialist certification is a plus.
• CDK experience preferred.
• Able to navigate technology with ease.
• Confident in upselling or suggesting related parts or accessories.
• Able to manage inventory, track orders, and ensure accurate parts fulfillment.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person, or email.
• Maintain a clean and professional counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Order parts and create invoices in ADP.
• Receive, unpack and store automotive parts.
• Process core returns, parts warranties, and parts returns.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
