ABOUT THE POSITION

The Marketing Specialist (P2) assists in developing and implementing marketing activities in support of parts sales objectives for the company. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded skills in creative marketing tasks. While the majority of their time will be dedicated to parts marketing, the specialist may also provide support for marketing efforts related to Astec Digital and capital sales. This is an in-office position based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Marketing Specialist works closely with Parts teams and the Marketing Manager on related items which include but are not limited to:

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities

·Content creation, social media and communication strategies, and marketing plan development

·Assist with website, print advertising, digital advertising, and email campaigns

·Assist with generating case studies with an emphasis on storytelling

·Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

·Design and compose artwork for advertising and marketing Astec Parts

·Design product literature and work with Astec parts teams to keep current

·Point of contact for state association exhibitions, including booth design and artwork and other duties related to success of exhibition

·Work on support items for Astec Parts Teams and Dealer Networks

·Proactively demonstrate the Astec core values of Safety, Devotion, Integrity, Respect and Innovation

·Photography / Videography for marketing purposes

·Editing of material utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and other creative programs or apps

·Maintaining email list for marketing campaigns

·Order and maintain swag for the Parts Team including the Dealer Network

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

·Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, or communications

·Past work experience in a similar position, 2 years

·Creativity and adaptability

·Familiarity with current marketing trends

·Must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines

·Must have strong interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with-in a team that could include marketing, sales, dealer representatives and customers where applicable

·Keen eye for maintaining brand/graphic integrity across multiple platforms

·Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

·Excitement about working as a collaborative member of a small, but mighty team

·Experience with traditional and digital marketing activities, including social media

·Experience with website content management systems, Sitefinity a plus

·Proficiency on Adobe Creative Cloud applications

·Experience on Microsoft Suite

·Videography and photography skills a plus

·Experience with marketing and 3D animation software a plus

Office

This is an in-office position based in Chattanooga, TN. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment or a customer site.
