Job summary

Buffalo Lift Trucks & Vitan Equipment is seeking a Parts Manager to lead our Buffalo parts department. You will oversee inventory, purchasing, and day-to-day operations while supporting service technicians.

Ideal candidates have experience in materials handling or related heavy equipment industries and strong inventory management skills, with a focus on accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling or related heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of parts ordering and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns
• Lead, train, and develop the parts team
• Coordinate parts needs with technicians and the service department
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
• Identify and reduce obsolete or excess inventory
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient parts department
• Ensure department processes are followed consistently
