Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the Branch Parts Department and drive growth and profit. You will plan, direct, and control activities, set budgets, and ensure quality customer service while aligning with company policies.

Qualifications

• Three years previous parts department experience, including inside and outside parts selling.
• Thorough knowledge of all parts department functions.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the Parts Department.
• Set short and long term operating and financial objectives for the Parts Department.
• Ensure policies and objectives are understood and applied within the department.
• Formulate annual and monthly sales/profit objectives and budgets.
• Review results and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
• Develop merchandising strategies to meet objectives.
• Maintain communication within and between branches and departments.
• Promote safe work habits and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Maintain positive customer relations and monitor market conditions.
• Conduct regular sales meetings and train department personnel.
