Crash Champions is hiring for a Parts role in Romeoville, IL. The position focuses on ordering, tracking, and receiving auto parts, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. You will support body technicians and collaborate with repair planners to keep parts flow smooth.

The role requires experience in automotive parts, reading work orders, and proficiency with estimating software. A valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States are mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders.
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software.

Aufgaben

• Order parts quickly and accurately based on initial estimates and supplements; communicate with vendors and work with Repair Planners for parts accuracy.
• Regularly monitor deliveries and update Repair Planner on parts status.
• Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders and ensure parts are placed and accounted for on the parts cart.
• Inspect delivered parts for damage within two hours of delivery.
• Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor.
• Monitor parts margins, pending credits, shop consumables inventory and material spend; discuss optimization with General Manager as needed.
• Ensure parts invoices are posted daily in CCC One and make corrections as necessary.
• Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge and provide reference materials; stay updated on laws and regulations of parts installation.
• Lead Parts Team (if applicable): mentor and direct the activities of the Parts Assistant.
