Job summary

Grieco Ford of Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within a high‑volume automotive service environment. Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the parts department, including parts counter service and inventory control.
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of automotive parts, tires, and spare parts to meet service department and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the service department to forecast parts demand and support timely vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Lead, train, and motivate parts department staff to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Implement and monitor processes to improve parts availability, reduce costs, and enhance overall department performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to parts handling and storage.

The Parts Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department within an automotive service environment.
