We value accountability, organization, practical problem-solving, and employees who take ownership of their work.

GP Motor Company is seeking an organized, mechanically knowledgeable Parts Manager to oversee the parts process for our vehicle reconditioning operation. This position owns the entire parts workflow—from identifying and sourcing required parts through ordering, receiving, inventory management, installation coordination, returns, credits, and final Repair Order documentation.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands automotive parts, maintains accurate records, and knows how to keep vehicles moving through reconditioning without unnecessary delays.

  • Pay: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience
  • Additional Compensation: Performance-based bonus opportunities

Responsibilities
  • Review vehicle inspection results and identify required parts.
  • Research and source parts through dealerships, manufacturers, aftermarket suppliers, online marketplaces, salvage yards, and other vendors.
  • Verify part numbers, vehicle fitment, quantities, pricing, availability, and delivery dates before ordering.
  • Balance cost, quality, and delivery time when making purchasing decisions.
  • Track outstanding orders, special-order items, delayed shipments, and backordered parts.
  • Receive and inspect incoming parts for accuracy and damage.
  • Match, label, catalog, and store parts according to the correct vehicle and Repair Order.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory and records within Dealertrack.
  • Create and maintain Repair Orders from initial purchase through final accounting.
  • Match invoices and expenses to the correct vehicle and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage returns for incorrect, damaged, or unused parts and confirm that all credits and refunds are received.
  • Identify vehicles delayed by outstanding parts and actively pursue solutions.
  • Stage received parts and coordinate installation based on vehicle priority and reconditioning needs.
  • Direct and prioritize the daily workload of the Parts Assistant.
  • Assist with minor parts installations when departmental responsibilities are current.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts storage area.
  • Communicate parts statuses and vehicle delays clearly to technicians and management.
