Job summary

Rydell Auto Center in Grand Forks, ND is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to verify records for shipments and prepare items for shipment. Primary duties include counting inventory, processing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate packaging.

Requires strong cooperation, customer service and packing knowledge. Typical shifts are 3pm-8pm with potential late nights during busy winter months. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge and ability to make decisions.
• Understanding of proper packaging methods.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areas.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts department.
• Willingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy months.
