Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Silver Spring is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Inventory Clerk to join our team. The role supports the parts, service, dealership, and wholesale departments by pulling, organizing, and replenishing inventory while ensuring clear communication with internal and external customers.

The position requires basic Microsoft Office skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year of automotive parts or counter sales experience preferred.
• Strong initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pull and fill parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop supplies requiring immediate attention.
• Prepare wholesale orders for delivery, ensuring parts are tagged with customer names and job numbers.
• Provide daily bin count results to the Parts Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom.
• Support the overall efficiency of the parts department and dealership operations.
