Full job description
L-Z truck Equipment is currently seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Parts Specialist to join our esteemed team and contribute to our ongoing success. The new hire will provide support to the customers, assembly technicians, and inside sales personnel. He/She will be in charge of receiving parts, organizing warehouse, updating ERP system, provide kits to the assembly jobs.
Job Responsibilities:
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Receive parts orders by verifying part numbers and quantities.
Update inventory software system by entering received parts
Update internal Sales Order, check for completeness, communicate status
Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes, working closely with the shop personnel and inside sales
Stock and maintain warehouse for easy access and location of the parts. Organize and optimize space. Provide clear labeling.
SHOP SUPPORT
Identify parts required for scheduled installation jobs.
Locate parts and components for assembly technicians, and deliver them to assembly site per schedule.
Arranging vehicles on the lot for scheduled jobs and dispatch
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Provide customers with price quotes for the parts, availability and technical detail across multiple product lines
Process payments from walk-in customers
Strong communication skills in person and on the phone
SHIPPING/RECEIVING
Unload shipments using forklift and pallet jack.
Process shipping slips by entering into inventory software system and updating inventory.
Package and ship parts and components per customer requests
Qualifications:
Previous experience running parts and inventory function
Current forklift experience required
Good communication skills in-person and on the phone
Strong computer skills and ability to with inventory management software and shipping system
Ability to Lift 50 pounds
A valid driver's license
High school diploma or GED
