Job summary

ETE REMAN is seeking a Parts Inventory Specialist to support the remanufacturing process by monitoring and improving inventory accuracy. You will coach teammates, implement process improvements, and ensure daily demands are met in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Parts Manager, learn the Syteline system, and oversee stock locations. This role emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, safety, and contributing to a positive department culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and accuracy in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to learn and use Syteline for warranty returns and stock management.
• Strong coaching and communication skills to support teammates.

Job description

As a Parts Inventory Specialist you play a big part of the team in providing support, parts, service, and goods to other team members. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent monitoring and managing processes & procedures, employees, and inventory accuracy. You will suggest and implement improvements, coaching, training, and ensuring work is being processed in an efficient manner in addition to providing support to other areas when needed. Be helpful and organized to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department. Your teammates will look to you for guidance throughout the day and you must remain positive. Be to work on time every day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Parts Manager and other Supervisors when needed, advise of all inventory problems
• Learn Syteline system, process of warranty returns to vendors and conduct productive meetings
• Manage and improve stock position of all inventory, assist in supervising all areas of the parts department
• Sustain the ability of coaching, counseling, and supporting others in a professional manner
• Take on and assign responsibilities to teammates, develop plans for improvement and execute them
• Ensure inventory is correct and is being stored/staged in proper locations
• Be prepared for scheduled and impromptu meetings, be able to work as a team
• Assist others within the department, train new personnel and work overtime when needed
• Follow directions from managers, be proactive and lead department to success
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

This position may be located in the "administrative section" of a manufacturing facility. You will be exposed to a variety of smells due to the manufacturing process. You will also exposed to moderate noise coming from the manufacturing area. Eye protection and steel toed footwear is required if you go on the manufacturing floor.
