Job summary

HC Forklift America in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a dependable Parts Inventory Associate to support daily warehouse operations. You will pull, verify, prepare, and ship parts orders with accuracy, while maintaining organized inventory and safe movement of materials.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification. Expect hourly pay, onsite work, and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of warehouse, parts, inventory, or distribution experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Forklift certification is required.
  • Experience using RF scanners and/or warehouse inventory systems is preferred.
  • Ability to pull, check, pack, and ship orders accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., safely.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and pick parts accurately according to orders and procedures.
  • Check and verify orders for correct part numbers, quantities, and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before shipment.
  • Pack parts securely and prepare shipments per company standards.
  • Process and ship outgoing orders within required timelines.
  • Ensure shipping documentation and labels are accurate.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to manage parts and orders.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect parts.
  • Stage completed orders for carriers and manage inventory locations.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts as needed.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and pick parts accurately according to customer orders, picking lists, and warehouse procedures.
  • Check and verify picked orders for correct part number, quantity, description, and condition.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before orders are shipped.
  • Pack parts securely and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Process and ship outgoing orders accurately and within required timelines.
  • Ensure all shipping documentation, labels, and order information are accurate.
  • Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to pick, scan, track, and process parts and orders.
  • Identify and report damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect parts.
  • Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas and ensure they are ready for the carriers.
  • Receive, inspect, and put away incoming parts and shipments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and assist with inventory organization.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as assigned.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Move and stage parts and loads throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Perform other parts and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–2+ years of warehouse, parts, inventory, or distribution experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Experience using RF scanners and/or warehouse inventory systems preferred.
  • Ability to accurately pull, check, pack, and ship orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify order and inventory discrepancies.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Range: $18-$20 (based on experience and qualifications)
