Compensation

Hourly pay rate is $18.89 - $28.32/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range, this role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $0.01.

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service and represent Midwest Great Dane positively at all times.
  2. Generate parts sales through walk-in customers and contacts via phone or email.
  3. Identify new sales opportunities and develop plans for purchasing, stocking, and selling parts.
  4. Ensure showroom is well-stocked, appropriately priced, and presentable.
  5. Assist colleagues with stocking, organization, freight issues, staging, etc.
  6. Collaborate with Parts Operations Supervisor to manage costs and maximize profits while meeting customer needs.
  7. Coordinate with the Service department regarding parts requirements for all service functions.
  8. Participate in vendor training sessions.
  9. Maintain knowledge of product specifications, features, benefits, and advantages across all product lines.
  10. Participate in parts sales meetings.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Drug Testing

Pre-employment drug testing is required. Cox Automotive does not currently test for marijuana pre-employment. However, possession, use, or being under the influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Benefits

Employees receive at least 6.67 hours of paid time off monthly and seven paid holidays annually. Additional leave options include bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
