Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Wholesale Parts Driver in Florida to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership. You will load the truck, organize delivery schedules, and report any vehicle or parts malfunctions to the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to use computer and calculator.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck to prevent damage to sheet metal and fragile parts.
• Organize delivery schedule to maximize efficiency and post schedule for contact.
• Keep truck clean and in good running condition; report malfunctions immediately.
• Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
• Make pickups and deliveries safely; call shipping department at stop(s).
• Update delivery log after each delivery.
• Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager.
