Job summary

Spitzer Motor City CDJR of Cleveland is seeking a Parts Driver to join our fast-paced automotive team. You will deliver and pick up parts, assist customers over the counter, and coordinate with the Parts Manager to ensure accuracy and timely service.

Qualifications

• Prior dealership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts and vendors.
• Coordinates with Parts Manager and other parts counter persons for last minute picks-ups or deliveries.
• Verifies invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and delivery.
• Keeps and accurate log of pick-ups and deliveries and collects recipient signatures on each entry.
• Loads and unloads truck each night and turns in paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Assists customers in person and on phone with questions regarding parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Provides a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Notifies customers and/or service advisors with special order parts arrive.
• Backup Parts Advisor, when needed.
