Job summary

Dobbs Truck Group seeks a parts transporter to move resale parts between locations with a focus on on-time delivery and top-tier customer service. You will work to maintain a professional company image while handling parts pull, delivery, and return documentation across our dealership network.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety procedures, supporting Inside and Outside Parts Sales staff, and learning customer accounts to meet delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of work experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and qualified MVR abstract.
• 1 year direct customer facing sales experience (Desired).
• Heavy-duty truck aptitude (Desired).
• Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision (Desired).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (Desired).
• Strong organization, communication, and phone skills (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe vehicle operating procedures and legal requirements.
• Pull ordered parts for assigned accounts and deliver on time.
• Pull up return parts and process return documents.
• Provide assistance to the Inside and Outside Parts Sales staff and management.
• Know assigned customer accounts and report customer purchasing practices.
• Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.
