Job summary

Mac Haik Ford Lincoln Hyundai in Victoria is hiring a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment, ensuring on-time service and keeping the parts truck clean and operable.

When not driving, you will help in the warehouse, update the delivery log, and assist the Parts Manager with scheduling and communication. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and pre-employment screening are required; forklift certification may be pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment screening completed.
• Authorization to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck in a way that prevents damage to sheet metal and fragile parts.
• Organize delivery schedule to maximize efficiency and post for contact.
• Verify invoices match purchase orders for each pickup.
• Keep truck clean and in good running condition.
• Maintain parts truck (fuel, oil, cleanliness, inspections).
• Report any malfunctions to Parts Manager immediately.
• Assist in keeping the parts department clean.
• Make pickups and deliveries safely and call the shipping department from each stop.
• Update delivery log after each delivery.
• Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Complete required training via the company portal.
• Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity for the Mac Haik Automotive group.
• Other duties as assigned.

Parts Driver

The Parts Driver position delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership in a timely manner to meet schedules and commitments while ensuring the delivery truck is in a clean and operable condition.

Skills / Qualities Preferred Include:

• Entry level position with opportunity for advancement
• Duties will include helping in the warehouse when not driving.
• Applicant must be willing and able to become Fork Lift certified.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up parts as requested by Parts Manager.
• Load truck in such a way as to eliminate damage to sheet metal and other fragile parts.
• Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Keep truck clean and neat and regularly check vehicle to keep in good running condition.
• Maintain parts truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
• Report any malfunctions of parts vehicle to Parts Manager immediately.
• Assist in keeping parts department and parts area clean.
• Make pick up and deliveries safely and call the shipping department from each pick-up and delivery stop.
• Pick up only parts that have a purchase order on the invoice.
• Update delivery log after each delivery.
• Work with Parts Manager to identify potential clients and complete sales calls as determined by the Parts Manager.
• Maintain professional personal appearance.
• Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or the equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
• Valid Driver's licenses with acceptable driving record
