Job summary

Hawk Auto Peru in Illinois seeks a parts delivery driver to deliver parts to customers, provide outstanding service, and support the parts counter team. You will load the van, service routes, and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors while representing Hawk Auto Peru on the road.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with morning hours, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic automotive group in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation, detail-oriented, takes ownership of the job.
• Previous experience in route delivery is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load the van each morning and afternoon for deliveries.
• Deliver parts to customers from the vehicle to designated area.
• Accept returns from customer and work with the parts counter representative to process the credits.
• Provide solid communication with parts counter representative.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Become familiar with customers and vendors.
• Keep the manager aware of any issues or concerns of customers.

The parts delivery driver partners with the parts counter representative to deliver parts to our customers in a timely manner. High performers will have a passion for customer service, a working knowledge of parts and likes to be out of the office and on the road in front of customers.
